Receive notification of emergency information via email, text messaging and/or voice.
HOYAlert, Georgetown University’s emergency notification system, provides:
- text messaging to cell phones and PDAs,
- voice (phone and voicemail) options to non-GU numbers,
- email to non-GU addresses.
HOYAlert may be used to notify members of the university community in the event of a campus emergency or closure. Text messages and other emergency notifications may be made at any time as incidents occur, 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, 365 days/year.
